Summer is flying by!

Hello everyone, I'm sorry it has been so long since I have posted on here. A lot has happened since early June. Father's Day weekend we had horrible storms and flooding across WI. We had some flooding in our basement and lost some electronic equipment to lightning. Thus, I haven't been able to post any pictures since then. I know, I know, I am married to a computer guy, but the old computer is not on the top of his priority list, to fix. Hopefully it will be fixed soon and I can post some more pictures of our summer.

We spend most afternoons at the outdoor aquatic center. Becca has now conquered the shoot slide and diving board. Both, are in 12 feet deep water. She definitely takes after her Daddy when it comes to her love of swimming. Abe and Becca are both in swimming lessons too and doing well.

Both kids took summer school, also. Now a days, summer school is much different than what we remember. There are classes for kids that need help getting ready for the next year. But there are a lot of fun classes. Abe took a computer class, rockets, science rocks and fun and games. Becca took Squiggles and Giggles and fun and games. They both loved it.

Recently we took the kids to Great America for the day. Abe, of course, rode the huge roller coasters, while Becca and I preferred the tea cups and carnival type rides. They had a blast. They both earned their tickets through a reading program at school.

As for Timm and I, we are both working full time. Timm was working out of the home, but now has taken a contract position in Ripon, WI, for a while. So, now we are on the hunt for baby sitters to get us through the summer. Everything always seems to fall into place though.

In August we are looking forward to a camping trip to Devil's Lake State Park and a trip to Mt. Olympus in the Dells. It has been a wonderful summer so far, but it is really flying by. I hope all is well with all of you. I will try to post some pictures soon. Love, Deb
