Memorial Day has always been a special day of tradition in my Pistohl family. As long as I can remember and maybe long before that, the Pistohl family and other relatives have gathered at the same spot on Algoma Blvd. in Oshkosh to watch the Memorial Day Procession. I always thought it was a parade, but my father informed me it is a procession.
It is always wonderful to see all the veterans marching and all the war vehicles passing by. I personally love the bands and feeling the drum beat in my chest. Every year I can hear my sister, Kelly singing along to all the patriotic songs. Tradition! (insert Tevya singing tradition in Fiddler on the Roof, here.):)
I'm happy that we continue to do this and now my children love the tradition of meeting at the stone wall with family. Here are some pictures from this year.

Hi Deb,
I feel like I really missed out. Looks like it was fun. I guess we will have to plan a Memorial Day vacation sometime.
Love,
Lynn
